We finally got the hole in the hood covered by using a Roush (Mustang) hood scoop installed backwards. While not the perfect solution, it will work until a new Cowl hood can be found.
The new engine, a 408LSX with full Forged internals and the Magnacharger supercharger combined with a safe tune, propels the car to scary speeds very quickly. A stout 700+ horsepower and 700+ FT TQ make traction almost impossible. It is quite a beast to drive with 1st gear useless and second not much better.
As you can also see, we cleaved up the garage a bit and put down some new covering. Have te remember to put paper on the floor before we paint :o)
